  thank you very much to angharad for posting a link to my site already, sorry to repeat the info in another post, begging your forgiveness :).

  i just didn't know if people would realize that it was my site since i didn't put my username in the title.... www.ghostwriter.homestead.com.

  this is a collection of essays i've written in the past 3 years on my experiences leaving/since leaving the borg, with more to be added as soon as i can find the time...hope they can help some of the 'newly-outs'.. thanks again everyone for your support.

  Hi bluesapphire! thanks for the welcome back, i'm amazed you remembered me! so many people are new around here I hardly know anyone anymore! (((((hugs))))) i think i'll be around for awhile...have some stuff to work out before it piles up, you know?

  Hamas I hadn't seen your site before just now, I apologize for the similarity in the titles of our sites. Previously my site was WT Survivors breaking the silence, but there are so many 'breaking the chains" and silence related titles now that the Escape from the tower was the first thing that came to my mind. I can change it, if you'd prefer...let me know!

  Dream or nightmare about the KH...you decide!

  if this doesn't speak volumes about my opinion of the morals of the majority of elders in the org.

  today...and the level of hypocrisy, then i don't know what would!.

  I dreamed that I was in the Kingdom Hall. I was literally stuck to a seat in the front row, I couldn't get up, move, or leave.

  The song was over, and the Public Talk was starting. The guest speaker took the podium...I look up, and this is who I see:

  The subject of the talk? Christian Morals! ROFLMAO. Imagine. I especially remember him lecturing on how important fidelity in marriage was. Hilary, interestingly, was nowhere in sight.

  When the Watchtower study began...yeah, you guessed it, who was conducting?

  I don't remember who was reading for the Watchtower, maybe if I try to think about it awhile it'll come back to me. The way my dreams have been weird lately, it was probably Donald Rumsfeld or something LOL

  Dream, or nightmare? You decide! I always liked Bill and Al despite their shortcomings, so that's another thing that makes me go hmmmmmmmm...

  (((((((((Big tex)))))))))) Dude, I hear you, I feel your pain.

  This week is a really bad one for me. Hearing my grandmother whom I love dearly say I needed to "get right and get back with the group" cause my being outside is "breaking her heart" is not a fun time :( Especially knowing that we nearly lost her recently, and she is in very ill health.

  If that doesn't make you feel bad about yourself, nothing will.

  I am combatting it by catching up with old friends, reading old posts I've written, and realizing that while I still have these 'basement' days, that they're fewer, and farther between. I have come a long way, I try to remind myself of that. I'm also trying to listen to comforting music, and trying to keep myself, and mind busy.

  When it starts working, I'll let you know...

  5 American idols left-who's getting the boot?

  kimberly locke and reuben each gave a singular moving, unbelievable performance last night (of their two songs).

  trenyce and clay were a close second.. what do you all think?

  I think that Josh is next to go (has trouble staying on key lately), then Trenyce. Then Kimberly, and that leaves Rubes and Clay.

  Who do I want to win? Hard decision :/ I LOVE Clay, but Ruben is just so amazing and adorable, man, that is going to be a really, really hard choice to make. I wish they could both win!

  As much as I'd like to see Clay win, I think Ruben has it all sewn up...

  The Best And Worst Accents In The World

  well, obviously we english don't qualify on that score as we simply do not have any accent whatsoever.. but i do like the mid to south us accent, it's very warm and hospitable.

  i'm not too keen on the accent of the eastern europeans, it seems harsh and bombastic.

  I must say that I swoon most quickly for a lovely English accent. Hugh Grant may be a cad, but I could listen to him talk all day long...*swoon* My all time favorite accents belong to an actor years and years ago named Dirk Bogarde, and also another actor named Anthony Andrews. Lovely, simply lovely. *sigh*

  As far as having an accent, yes, my Canadian friends tell me all the time that I do. One of them loves to torture me for saying "Gaaad" instead of "god". An australian gent did tell me once that he loved my midwest accent, it was the first time I ever thought that I might have one LOL.

  I find Irish and Scotish accents very sexy...a'la Bono and Sean Connery...I think Americans have the most boring, and unglamourous speech in the world.

  Our old cat

  i wish there was film in my camera for one last photo of our cat, tiffany.

  we got her almost 18 years ago, when our youngest was in kindergarten.

  I'm so sorry about your kitty, sweetie. I'm a bigtime cat person even though I can't have one anymore :(

  My hubby's childhood kitty died last summer, he was 18. He died while my in-laws were abroad, and they felt so bad about it. He was nothing but skin and bones at that point, poor little guy. They have a kitten now and they're not used to having such an energetic baby in the house!

  my family cat passed on a few years ago and i still miss him...

  (((((((((((((Mulan)))))))))))) another hug, just cause I know what it's like to lose a pet close to you and I am so sad that you had to let her go. But you really did the most loving thing you could have...

  my journey out began with this and other ''eyeopening" internet sites [thank you simon].

  i have since read ray franz's two books and greg stafford's "dissertations".

  although i am very grateful to have found out that my years of questions had a solid base and i now see the wts for what it is, i have decided i need more positives in my life.
